Malt Whisky Yearbook 2014

Writing a new edition of a book each year must be daunting. But an entirely new version of a 300-page book annually is beyond the pale. However he manages to do it, the annual fall release of Ingvar Ronde’s Malt Whisky Yearbook is always a highlight of the malt whisky year. We know whisky season is upon us when the new Yearbook arrives.

Thorough, detailed and up to date it is a goldmine of malt whisky facts and figures. Canada does not figure large. Yet. But we know that as more Canadian malt whiskies come on line Ingvar will be there to tell the world about them.

Each edition of the Yearbook brings a wealth of new information to anorak and casual drammer alike. No re-cycled tasting notes here. Joined by some of the world’s best known whisky writers Ronde’s annual edition is always fresh and new.

Highly recommended.

Does this include only single malts then? No bourbons? No ryes?

    • Davin:

No bourbon, no ryes, just malt whiskies.

That’s too bad. I find single malts so boring.
Looks like I’ll have to stick with three wise men; Murray, dykstra and de kergommeaux.
